Captain: Simon Truelove

Nationality: British

Captain Simon Truelove (MCA Master =3000GRT) has over fifteen years at sea solely dedicated to the Yachting sector both on private and charter yachts. During this time he has completed a global circumnavigation cruising areas such as the peninsular of Antarctica, Patagonia, the US and Alaska, Micronesia, various Pacific Islands, the Caribbean and of course his now home waters of the Mediterranean, both East and West. Simon first found his calling for being on the water at the age of 8 when his family moved to Berkshire in the UK, to a village on the banks of the River Thames. He embarked upon his professional career at sea in 1994 and has had the pleasure of serving on yachts from 36m to 63m, including classics like a 1960s converted ocean salvage tug and various new builds.

As the Captain, Simon takes the utmost care in ensuring both yours and the crew's safety at all times, allowing you to relax and enjoy your vacation. Engineer: Villy Sorensen

Nationality: Danish

Villy started sailing in 1981 in the "Royal Greenland Trade", a company owned by the Danish Government, and sailed on the coast of Greenland for 26 years, 23 on various passenger vessels, and 3 on a cruise liner - Expedient Ice, a class A1 vessel which chartered. In the past 2 years Villy has joined luxury yachts. He holds a Chief Engineer Officer III/2/V1 unlimited ticket which is equivalent to an MCA Yacht Chief Engineer Y1, under 3000KW.

First Officer: Paul Gamble

Nationality: British

Paul has worked on yachts since 1995 and holds the MCA Master =3000GRT certificate. He has a lot of experience at all levels in yachting. Having circumnavigated the globe, Paul has a wealth of knowledge of many cruising areas. He enjoys water sports and fishing and will do everything possible to make your time aboard comfortable, safe and fun.

Chef: Tony Orlando

Nationality: Cuban

Chef Tony with Cuban father and Sicilian mother is one of the world's most sought after chefs. Tony is the recipient of seven international Concours de Chef Competitions and has mastered the art of gourmet dining and entertaining. Tony thinks he is a lucky guy doing this work. He will ensure that all guests will have the BEST meals ever.

Chief Stewardess: Mailee Cuenca

Nationality: Filipino / Italian

Mailee is originally from the Philippines but has adopted Genoa, Italy as her home. Right after obtaining her Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, she embarked as bartender/waitress onboard Renaissance Cruise Lines to make her dreams of traveling come true. That same love for travelling brought her to serve onboard various luxury yachts both in the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Chief Stewardess Mailee is fun loving and easy going with a cheerful attitude. She speaks fluent Italian and English as well as her mother tongue Tagalog. She is dedicated to her work, and will ensure that all guests aboard Audacia will have a truly memorable time.

2nd Stewardess: Ameilia Hall

Nationality: Australian

Amelia grew up in Nelson Bay, New South Wales approximately 2 hours north of Sydney Australia. She enjoys the outdoors, music, scuba diving, horse riding and all aspects of water sports. After finishing school she pursued a career in Real Estate and Property Management whilst also developing her hospitality skills working part-time in various hotels, restaurant, bars and cafes. After moving to the Gold Coast it was her love for the ocean and traveling which brought her to serve aboard luxury yachts. Prior to joining Audacia Amelia has worked aboard yachts cruising Australia and South Pacific, and more currently in the Mediterranean. She as an outgoing, friendly personality and is confident she will play an important role ensuring the best possible experience for all of Audacia's guests.

3rd Stewardess: Dee Momi

Nationality: British

Dee joins Audacia as part our interior team after establishing her career in London as freelance stylist and having previously worked as a PA and private dining hostess for several high profile personalities. Dee has developed a detail-oriented eye and discreet, diligent nature which has eased her transition into the yachting industry. Now pursuing her love for travel and boats, Dee spent her teenage years rowing on the River Ouse. She counts swimming and taking long walks along the coastline as her favourite pastimes, and also enjoys cooking, horse riding, photography and learning about marine life and the conservation of animals. She is currently learning to dive.

Bosun: Zoltan Vereb

Nationality: Hungarian

Zoltan grew up in Szolnok in Hungary where he spent most of his time playing handball and basketball. After finishing school, where he studied marketing, he decided to explore the world. He worked on Cruise liners such as Princess Cruises and Celebrity Cruises. After a couple of years he returned home only to quickly discover how he missed the sea. He thereafter joined the mega yacht industry. Zoltan holds a PADI Open Water Diver Certificate, a Yacht Master Offshore, and Officer of the Watch Navigation and Radar tickets. He is working his way up to being an Officer of the Watch. Zoltan's outgoing, warm and friendly nature will ensure that you feel comfortable and welcome.

Deckhand: Ty Falkenstein

Nationality: Australian

Ty grew up in Cairns, in far North Queensland, Australia from where he left to attend boarding school in Brisbane. He loves rugby, cricket, and football and has played music all his life. He plays the guitar, piano, drums and the didgeridoo. Ty worked on passenger ships on the Great Barrier Reef and the Kimberly region between Darwin and Broom. After this he decided to take after his Father and head up the Gulf of Carpentaria and work on a prawn trawler. Ty thereafter decided to pursue a career in yachting and ventured over to Europe in June 2009. Ty's versatile experience and typical Australian sense of humor ensures your time aboard Audacia will be as enjoyable as any.
